Volunteer with Washtenaw Camp Placement!

There are many ways you can get involved to help kids with less access to opportunity experience the transformative benefits of sleepaway summer camp. Here are just a few:

Transportation Liaison: greet our campers when they leave for / arrive from camp at the camp bus pickup/dropoff locations around Ann Arbor.

Help with Camper Orientation: volunteer at our yearly Camper Orientation event to help our kids get prepared for camp.

Serve on our Board of Directors: contribute your leadership to help guide Washtenaw Camp Placement now and into the future!

Administrative support: help us with mailings, filing,database management and other administrative tasks.

Help With Supplies: our campers need supplies to bring to camp! Donate needed items, help gather donations, organize a donation drive, etc. Donated items include sleeping bags, sunscreen, bug spray, sheets, flashlights, bath and beach towels, etc. Our Amazon Wish List is one way to see the items we need.
